MASTER PLAN

There are various reasons behind this dream

Alongside basin landowners, we carry out a series of actions and sustainable practices to conserve, protect and restore the soil and forests.

Design and build 150 km of mountain bikee trails in four ejidos in the next five years

Create 20 new well-paid job opportunities for community employment

Protect and conserve 4,000 hectares of forest in the Valle de Bravo - Amanalco basin

Position the region as the number 1 destination for mountain biking in Mexico, nationally and Internationally.

Offer first level outdoor lodging options.

Short term

2018: Opening of the Bike Park with the first trails such as Fresno, La Pera, Cañada Oscura, Los Camachos, Paraiso. Total trails distance 25 km.

2020: Expansion of 5 km that includes iconic trails such as Rodavento Flyer and Vieja Innés. ACCOMPLISHED.

2021: Three new trails connecting with the Parador Ecoturistico Corral de Piedra. 6 more km of flow! – Mati Flow, Grandulón Guadalupanos and Zapatito Blanco and the connection with Corral de Piedra – ACHIEVED!

2022: Construction of the Capilla Vieja Plunge that connects the high mountain valleys of Corral de Piedra with Capilla Vieja in an epic descent of 4.5 km.

The flow of San Lucas Bike Park increases

In addition to the iconic “Quema Puerco” area, where the Enduro and DH trails are, there is a new iconic trail that connects  the high mountain valleys of Corral de Piedra with Capilla Vieja – The Capilla Vieja Plunge.

A dream shared by several of the local riders that we want to make come true.
In addition, we will improve the dirt roads for lift access and we will strengthen the capacities of MTB  guides, the administration and the ejido operation of the park.

Our goal is to consolidate and expand a mountain biking hub in the region.

The rules of the game

Contributions will be a donation to Procuenca and will be used exclusively in the construction of the new trails.

We may issue a tax-deductible receipt for this purpose. At donors request(valid in mexico city only).

Project is born in the ejido of San Lucas, Amanalco.

It is a forest conservation and sustainable community development project based on mountain biking. IT IS NOT A PROFIT  BUSINESS for Procuenca.

The new trails construction project is operated and managed by Procuenca. Patrons will have no say in the design and construction process, although your opinion will be well received.
